With good cap skills will perma run the MWD and 20k. Hit orbit at 15 and laugh as cruiser size ships and now due to the NOS change most BS will be unable to suck your life away with NOS as you evade missiles, light drones and guns.
But cry when you realise your 50 odd dps won't scratch their tank. You might kill a tech I cruiser thats being shot by npc's aswell, otherwise frigates are the limit.
The setup aint bad but if you want to belt pirate in an interceptor you really need to go for a taranis and avoid targets with web or fit rails.

Without cap boosters (which are impractical anyway), you can't. Even with max skills, a gistii mwd and a chelm's recharger, the most you can get is 4 minutes of sustained running. (Before you start sacrificing speed, anyway)
You can my friend:
Highs: 3x Standard II 1x Salvager/125mm AC II
1x Gist A-type 1MN MWD 1x Warp Disruptor II (or less cap intensive, doesn't matter) 1x Cap Recharger II
1x Power Diagnostic System II 1x Capacitor Power Relay II 1x Overdrive II
2x polycarbon
7763m/s with full navigation and no implants and your cap lasts indefinitely(with your salvager off obviously, :P). So in other words its quite easy to do while maintaining a good velocity! It fits almost perfectly too!
It is expensive though. :/

But, yeah. Doable, if you don't mind sacrificing a bit of speed. Personally, i prefer the speed. I've yet to cap out while getting the initial tackle on a target, so it isn't really a problem. 2 minutes is still quite a long time in terms of a fight.
Same here, anything that lives long enough for me to cap out is generally too tough for a Crow to break anyway. 2 minutes is plenty as a gang tackler! [Balance] The Caldari problem. |
